Aug 2018 - Present Init Africa is a software development company founded by me with about 3 team members collaborating to build business solution SaaS products. Our first product Element Photo (https://element.photo) helping photographer better share and manage their work and business. Responsibilities: I initially focused on building the tech (working with Javascript, GO and PHP), architecture and stack of our various products. Now I lead my team to achieve our goals by both leading development, strategy and business. Achievement: • Successfully architected, built and launched element.photo with over 200+ users

I currently work full time as a Backend Developer at Coalition Technologies. Working remotely with a team of people spanning across the globe, my team is responsible for managing our internally built and SaaS products. Responsibilities: I am responsible for building, upgrading, optimising, reviewing and testing applications. Primarily working with PHP, Laravel, Javascript, SQL, AWS and carrying out Test Driven Development in an agile methodologies driven environment Achievement: • Increase load speed of various page by optimising SQL queries • Successfully helped redevelop and optimise our internal application. • Built, deployed microservice application for data aggregation. • Improving code quality on client application helping foster client retainer-ship Lead

I acted as the company's System Administrator and helped maintain and resolve network and system issues. I also built the company's website and managed it's hosting and deployment.

For over four years I have collaborated with various teams and contracted on project to build websites and web application at various levels. Achievement: • Migrated the codebase for CodeIgniter web application to Laravel. • Built various e-commerce site • Built and managed website for religious organisations.
