Responsible for designing and implementing new infrastructure architecture for different highlighted projects on AWS that meets AWS best practices with achieving CI/CD principles: o https://mawadda-eg.com, a national initiative provided by the Ministry of Social Solidarity that aims to spread the awareness about the healthy marriage life. o https://thanaweya.net, a national initiative provided by the Ministry of Education that contains collected courses and lessons that help students in their studies, but it was decommissioned later. o https://omae.cloudcampus.net, a Million Arab Entrepreneurs initiative led by UAE government to fund the Arab Entrepreneurs by presenting their ideas and projects through the website, but it was decommissioned later. o https://nbe.almentor.net, https://bm.almentor.net, https://ogs.almentor.net, and https://riyada.almentor.net, Different small initiatives for different national banks and other companies (ex. NBE, Banque Misr,). • Led the migration project from AWS to Azure for https://mawadda-eg.com. • Build new CI/CD pipelines for the projects hosted in AWS and Azure. • Designing an automated cost-effective solution that control the uptime for all projects. It is a serverless solution (API Gateway with Lambda) that control the scaling behavior whether scaling in or scaling out for the production environment on multiple layers based on the predicted utilization. • Support the current environments (production and staging) for Almentor.net and apply different enhancements at the security and performance layers. • Jira migration from local servers to Jira cloud. • Jenkins migration to Azure with the latest version.

AWS Solution Architect which is responsible for designing and implementing various solutions for the new clients to build their environments (Linux, Windows or Hybrid) meeting AWS best practices. • Responsible for information gathering process by attending several meetings with the clients (face to face or over video conference meetings), discussing the possible solutions on AWS for their use cases. • Responsible for handling the complex and escalated support tickets for EMEA region and US support teams. • Act as a direct level of escalation to assist with the complex and urgent cases. • Manage, architect, build and monitor highly available, secure Cloud (IaaS) based environments. • Manage, design and implement disaster recovery solutions. • Implement hybrid environments (On-premise/AWS) mostly over VPN connections. • Oversee server sizing and capacity planning, installation, setup, and configuration. • Accountable for technical direction, and performance management/development of the Cairo support team members.
