Being the webmaster has taught me a lot in project management and helped me launch 3 profile websites. 1. School of Tourism and Hospitality 2. Strathmore University Exhibition Managed project by external developers. 1. School of Humanities and Social Sciences Major Responsibilities: • I have maintained functionality, appearance and accuracy of Strathmore public websites using content management system and intranet facilities • I Ensure that schools, institutes and other departments' marketing needs are met by processing their design requests and assisting them in developing or updating their marketing materials. • I have created synergy by planning and organizing monthly meetings with communication representatives from various schools, faculties and departments and conveying strategies used by the Communications Office for marketing various university events or Programs. • Generated all reports and analysis derived from tracking and monitoring of websites traffic. • Worked closely with all stakeholders to ensure the university brand is maintained in all marketing material. • Worked closely with IT department to monitor websites and ensure confidentiality, availability & integrity of information online. • Created pages for important notices such as graduation, annual reports, appointments and intakes. • Developed newsletter templates, weekly news templates and effected Strathmore Gazette updates.

I have been learning on the requirements of Audio-Visual and aided in a number of sites with installation and configuration e.g., DHL and SBM Bank A/V solutions. Major accomplishments: • Coordinate the requirements, integration and installation of A/V control system programs. • Programming of control systems.

I served as a liaison officer in the faculty affairs office which gave me exposure in dealing with a wide range of issues especially in ensuring communication was flowing well from one faculty to another and getting involved in the foundation laid for the start of an engineering school. Major accomplishments: • Designing and developing a full-stack web portal to automate office operations and managing the faculty staff. • Design and branding office events.

I worked in a team of 12 programmers and other channels support staff to ensure that operations within the region were always seamless and satisfying the major needs. The bank stands at the third position with a good revenue generation and up to date technological advancements. Major accomplishments: • Deployment of cloud solutions to enhance regional transactions among Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania on the Microsoft cloud. • I built a Full-stack application in Java using the Spring framework for a REST API and Vaadin for front-end scheduled for integration in a final customer product on the Core banking application software. • Build a CI/CD Pipeline using Docker and Jenkins for tracking and improving the REST APIs. • Created test environments using Hyper-V and created environments for deployment. • Infrastructure installations, systems upgrade and customization of software for reading cheques.
