He obtained the Informatic Science Engineer degree at the University of Informatics Sciences, Havana, Cuba. He worked developing ETL solutions, PostgreSQL, and Ruby on Rail backend systems. He received an M.Sc. degree in Applied Informatics at the same University. He worked on several virtual reality projects (a shooter simulator, car-race videogame, and surgical simulator). He developed healthcare software applications for seven years, such as human movement analysis systems and a PACS System, developing modules for the acquisition, storage, transmission, visualization, and processing of Dicom images. He is currently a Ph.D. student in Computer Sciences at the University of Chile, working on topological data analysis to classify noisy and high-dimensional datasets.
