I have 9 years experience in software development, mostly web based, developing education, finance, social networking related applications. With Javascript based frameworks I have done both server-side (with NodeJS) and client-side (with VueJS | ReactJS | AngularJS | BackboneJS) development. I do believe in automated testing of web applications but not excessively, I think having major use cases covered via headless browser tests, and having the complex components in the application covered via unit tests is fine.
