Gamers Club is a competitive gaming startup that is transforming competitive online games into a professional sports.
I made part of a new product called Multigaming, an online platform where players from a wide range of games go to compete and earn prizes.
During my whole time in Multigaming, I managed to make many positive contributions to this product, such as:
· Release and improve MVPs for the Tournament feature
· Work to integrate games APIs, like Free Fire, League of Legends, Valorant, and others
· Suggest and implement improvements for unit and E2E tests
· Collect and analyze data to suggest changes that could bring more users
Apart from my contributions, this position contributed greatly to my professional side. As this was my first time working with a product, it enabled me to learn and practices several concepts, like:
· Agile methodologies and how to be a Scrum Master
· Accessibility, Scalability, and Performance
· Unit and E2E tests and why they're important
· CI/CD and how the production pipeline works
· To solve problems based on data
· Ownership and Leadership
The tech stack used in the project was: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Typescript, React, React Hooks, Next.js, Redux, Unit Testing using Jest and React-testing-library, a hand-made Webpack configuration, Git, Node.js, Docker, and Jenkins.
