When I finished high school, I opted for a Computer Science Bachelor's degree. I studied at the "Universidad de Oriente" college where the teaching level was of extreme quality. Due to the political and economic situation in Cuba and the opportunity to go live and work in Venezuela, I decided to go abroad. In Venezuela I started to work in the typical immigrant jobs until I was hired by Corp Banca C.A., a Chilean-owned banking institution that, at that time owned the American Express franchise for Latino America. My professional experience in the banking world lasted more than a decade until I went to work for a transnational company. During all that time I was always self-taught with programming. Three years ago I went to live with my wife to Portugal and I'm starting over but now with more tools and experience than before. Now I decided to look for a job in technology prioritizing remote work opportunities. To achieve my goal, I bought a laptop with more than enough features to develop software and I started studying at Platzi online school, one of the largest online academies dedicated to the technology industry in Latin America to upgrade my knowledge and being the best possible candidate.
