We're seeking experienced UX/UI designers to join our partner in Germany as freelance Instructors. We are committed to providing high-quality design education and are looking for individuals who can share their expertise in UX/UI design with our students.
Location: Remote, OR Hybrid (optimally in Berlin)
Course Language: English and German (Fluency Required) German is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching: Deliver engaging and informative lessons on UX/UI design, ensuring a deep understanding of the subject matter.
- Mentoring: Provide guidance, support, and mentoring to help students grasp complex design concepts and excel in their studies.
- Workshops: Lead workshops and facilitate interactive learning experiences for students.
- Course Development: Contribute to the development and improvement of course materials and content, including assignments, assessments, and projects.
- Assessment: Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them achieve their learning objectives.
- Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest UX/UI design tools and best practices to provide the most relevant and current information to students.
Requirements:
- A degree in design or comparable training/bootcamp in the field.
- 2+ years of professional experience as a UX/UI designer or in a related subfield.
- Experience and passion for teaching, workshops, facilitation, mentoring, training, or lecturing.
- Strong communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Figma and Notion software, with in-depth knowledge.
- A good understanding of design processes and an evolved systematic thinking.
- Strong mentoring and relationship-building skills with the ability to manage groups and interpersonal conflict situations effectively.
- Genuine enjoyment of passing on your knowledge and helping others grow.
- A passion for people empowerment and equal opportunities.
- High degree of integrity, reliability, planning, organization, and personal responsibility.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of German is a plus but not required.
- High levels of empathy and team-playing abilities.
