Location: Remote from Cairo, Egypt (preferred) or nearby time zone
We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer with over 5 years of QA expertise to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be based in Cairo to facilitate collaboration with our strong local team and accelerate onboarding. We are open to candidates in a nearby timezone if you meet all requirements and demonstrate exceptional skill.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute automated testing using Selenium-Java.
- Perform comprehensive functional testing to ensure software quality.
- Write, maintain, and execute test cases, utilizing tools such as Zephyr.
- Work independently while also providing guidance and support to team members in QA processes and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment with project goals.
Must-Have Skills:
- Testing Automation: Extensive experience focusing on automated testing.
- Selenium-Java: Proficiency in using Selenium with Java for test automation.
- Java: Strong coding skills for building reliable and maintainable test scripts.
- Maven: Experience with Maven for project management and build automation.
- Functional Testing: Solid experience in conducting functional tests.
- Test Case Writing: Proven track record in writing and managing test cases using tools like Zephyr.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Performance Testing: Familiarity with performance testing tools and methodologies.
- Typescript: Basic knowledge or experience with Typescript.
- React.js: Ability to analyze changes and understand their potential impact.
- MySQL (RDBMS): Competence in working with relational databases for test data management.
- Docker/Openshift: Experience with containerization and virtualization tools to facilitate testing environments.
