Startups Galaxy is an online platform for startups, co-working spaces and agencies to get connected, exchange services and deals and expose their ideas/companies to the entrepreneurs and investors in the ecosystem. I was hired to build the their website, make it responsive to tablet and mobile devices, design and manage their database, build their REST-API and back-end administration port.

As a technical lead, I was in charge of communicating between the product director, the management and the engineers to make sure that the technical product will match that one forseen by the business. My responsibilities included choosing the technology stack for every project, assigning team roles, managing sprints, creating the automation pipeline, handling web server hosting and database structure, measuring performance, giving feedback to engineers in linkedin.com/in/ahmed-mustafa-b76641a2/ one-on-one meetings (retrospective meetings after every sprint) and most of the time we used to divide ourselves into sub-teams where I had to contribute with developers in writing code.

Mgarrab is an online listing directory for ratings and reviews. I was hired to build the their website, make it responsive to tablet and mobile devices, design and manage their database, build their REST-API and back-end administration port.

Futbolista was a social network for amateur soccer players to find nearby matches, nearby playgrounds, create and join Futsal games and get together. I was in charge of designing and building the database, REST-API, back-end administration portal and the mobile application. In addition - as a Co-Founder, I had to manage weekly meetings with the rest of the Founders to align together on our vision, assign tasks for everyone and discuss what’s better for the business model.

I was hired to build the mobile app for Yumamia which is an online food delivery service for catering and home made food. I was in charge of building the application using a hybrid app framework for the customers, in addition to building and handling the REST-API to which the mobile app will be talking. I was also responsible for handling application submission to the stores, signing the app and managing beta and production releases.

Hive Advertising is a software house delivering high quality products to clients and business owners. I was in charge of developing UI interfaces delivered by the designers and converting them into functional interfaces on desktop, mobile and tablet devices.

I was in charge of building software products starting from UI development to backend integration and database management.
