We are currently looking for a skilled frontend Shopify Developer to work Remotely with a fast-growing e-commerce agency based in the UK.
This is a full-time remote position, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm UK time. Although the role is 100% remote, there may be opportunities for occasional collaboration with our other developers in a shared office space.
As a front-end Shopify Developer, your main responsibilities will include assisting with front-end website development, debugging, maintenance, and implementing general updates. While prior experience with Shopify is preferred, it is not a strict requirement. This role offers the chance to work on exciting large-scale projects and expand your knowledge and skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop custom sections and enhance existing sections on Shopify themes.
- Resolve website issues across various devices, browsers, and screen sizes.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure project completion and meet deadlines.
Job Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in frontend web development, including HTML, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, and front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).
- Familiarity with connecting and integrating tools using APIs.
- Proficient in Shopify with at least 3 years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of frontend web development best practices, including lazy-loading, responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and CSS layout frameworks.
- Experience with Git version control, Chrome developer tools, and command line.
- Excellent organizational skills, time management abilities, and work ethic.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
- A portfolio showcasing previous work and highlighting specific elements you have completed.
- Fluent English language skills are essential.
