Job Description
We are hiring a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to work Remotely with our partner, an international provider of e-commerce and fulfillment services with locations in Austria. This role requires a strong leader with a strategic understanding of IT architecture, capable of guiding a team of developers and ensuring technological excellence.
As the CTO, you will work closely with the management team to define and execute their technology roadmap, manage the development team, and oversee the security and stability of their systems, primarily using SAGE x3 and JavaScript.
Schedule: Full-time or Part-time (Flexible)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the partner’s technology strategy in collaboration with their management team.
- Manage a team of 4 permanent programmers, coordinating additional freelancers as required.
- Create and maintain a technology roadmap for system improvements, security measures, and future developments.
- Ensure the security, scalability, and stability of the partner’s systems and infrastructure, particularly in the context of e-commerce and fulfillment services.
- Lead technical projects, ensuring they are completed on time and meet the business’s evolving needs.
- Stay updated on relevant technology trends and propose innovative solutions to enhance the partner’s service offerings.
- Serve as a technical advisor to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment on technology goals.
Requirements:
- A foundational understanding of IT architecture and experience working with developers.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage development teams, including full-time employees and freelancers.
- Experience in developing and managing a technology roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Solid knowledge of security protocols and system stability best practices.
- Prior experience in e-commerce and logistics is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with SAGE x3 and JavaScript technologies is advantageous.
