The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Tableau and other BI tools and a proven track record of mentoring junior analysts. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Instruction: Deliver engaging and informative lessons on data analytics topics, with a focus on Tableau and other Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
- Mentoring: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data analysts, helping them to develop their technical skills and career paths.
- Public Speaking: Utilize your experience in speaking at conferences, meetings, and other public forums to effectively communicate complex data concepts to diverse audiences.
- Curriculum Development: Collaborate with our educational team to design and develop comprehensive curricula that meet the needs of aspiring data analysts.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making, emphasizing the importance of analytics in strategic planning.
- Technical Skills Application: Leverage your expertise in Python, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and other relevant tools to enhance the learning experience.
- GitHub Collaboration: Utilize version control systems like GitHub in a team environment, emphasizing best practices in collaborative data projects.
- Optional: Provide insights into Data Warehousing principles and practices if applicable to your expertise.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a data industry professional with a strong emphasis on Tableau and other BI tools.
- Demonstrated ability to speak confidently in front of groups, conferences, and meetings.
- Experience mentoring junior data analysts, fostering their growth and development.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
- Familiarity with GitHub and team collaboration in a version-controlled environment.
- Fluent in business English with excellent communication skills.
- Teaching experience is a plus, though not required.
- Optional knowledge of Data Warehousing is a bonus.
