Job Description
Location: Remote from Cairo, Egypt (preferred) or nearby time zone
We are seeking an experienced Junior QA Engineer with 2+ years of QA expertise to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be based in Cairo to facilitate collaboration with our strong local team and accelerate onboarding. We are open to candidates in a nearby timezone if you meet all requirements and demonstrate exceptional skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium with Java.
- Perform functional testing to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.
- Write and maintain test cases in Zephyr.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to identify, document, and resolve defects.
- Work with Maven for test automation project management.
- Ensure test coverage and contribute to process improvements.
Must-Have Skills:
- 2+ years of QA experience with a focus on test automation.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium and Java.
- Familiarity with Maven for test project management.
- Strong understanding of functional testing principles.
- Experience in writing and managing test cases using Zephyr.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with the team.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with performance testing tools.
- Basic knowledge of TypeScript.
- Understanding of React.js to assess UI changes.
- Familiarity with MySQL and relational database testing.
- Exposure to Docker/OpenShift for virtualization and containerized testing.
