Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Ruby on Rails Developer with a strong background in AWS and JavaScript frameworks to work remotely with a UK-based startup in the field of data collection and research.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Maintain Applications: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications using Ruby on Rails.
AWS Integration: Utilize AWS services to deploy, manage, and scale applications efficiently.
Front-End Development: Implement interactive user interfaces using EmberJS and ensure seamless integration with back-end systems.
Collaborate and Communicate: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to deliver solutions aligned with business objectives.
Problem-Solving: Analyze and resolve technical challenges, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security of applications.
Stay Updated: Continuously stay informed about new technologies, trends, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
- Ruby on Rails Expertise: Strong experience with Ruby on Rails, including hands-on development of complex web applications.
- AWS Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in AWS services, with the ability to architect and manage cloud solutions effectively.
- EmberJS Knowledge: Solid understanding of EmberJS for building modern and responsive user interfaces.
- JavaScript and Frameworks: Strong knowledge of JavaScript and its frameworks, with a focus on creating clean, efficient code.
- NextJS and Postgres: Experience with NextJS and Postgres is a plus, offering added versatility to the role.
