We're seeking a talented data industry professional to join our partner's team in Germany as a freelance Data Science Instructor. We are dedicated to providing high-quality education in the field of data science and are looking for individuals who can share their expertise and passion for teaching data skills with our students.
Location: Remote
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching: Deliver engaging and informative lessons on data science, with a focus on Machine Learning in Python and SQL, ensuring a deep understanding of the subject matter.
- Mentoring: Provide guidance, support, and mentoring to help students grasp complex data science concepts and excel in their studies.
- Data Product Development: Share your experience in building, delivering, and maintaining data products, especially in a team setting.
- Course Development: Contribute to the development and improvement of course materials and content, including assignments, assessments, and projects.
- Assessment: Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them achieve their learning objectives.
- Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest data science tools and best practices.
Requirements:
- Talented data industry professional with skills in Machine Learning in Python and SQL.
- Experience in building, delivering, and maintaining data products, especially in a team setting.
- Nice-to-have: Experience in NLP with Hugging Face and Time Series Modeling.
- Passionate about teaching data skills and creating a learning experience for students.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Previous education, teaching, training, mentoring experience - someone who enjoys breaking down concepts for others to learn and actively engages in teaching.
- Previous experience with GitHub in a team, including code review and pair programming.
