We are seeking an experienced PHP Developer to work REMOTELY with a fast-growing Fintech Saudi Startup
Responsibilities:
- Spearheading the development of new products from inception to execution.
- Crafting and implementing the architecture of our core systems.
- Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Collaborating on high-scalable projects utilizing PHP7 within a cloud-based infrastructure.
- Constructing and managing internal and external RESTful APIs.
- Enhancing and expanding test coverage.
- Continuously expanding knowledge of software architecture, programming, and emerging technologies.
- Participating in agile processes tailored to the team's and project's requirements.
- Sharing expertise and insights with fellow developers as a valued team member.
Skills And Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in PHP development.
- Proficient in PHP 8+ and frameworks such as Laravel/Symfony/Yii.
- Full-stack proficiency spanning frontend to database development.
- Strong understanding of relational databases (MySQL, Postgres, etc.), SQL, and database/schema design.
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like Angular.js, Vue.js, React, etc.
- Knowledgeable in design patterns.
- Ability to consume and create RESTful APIs and web services.
- Commitment to writing well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Experience or understanding of Test Driven Development (TDD).
- Familiarity with scalable application design principles.
- Integration experience with distributed systems.
- Exposure to Continuous Delivery environments.
- Proficiency in Git or other code versioning tools.
- Strong focus on code quality.
- Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail and prioritization skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Additional points for experience with AWS products.
- Additional points for expertise in microservice architectural patterns, container technologies, and event queue technologies.
